Labor Day Fun

Michael and I took Brianne to the Children's Museum downtown on Monday. They have a great exhibit there called Tot Spot. This is a place for toddlers to play and explore. Brianne loved it and it was great to spend the day as a family outside of the house! Here are a couple of pictures of our day!

I am so thankful to have days like Labor Day to enjoy being together as a family. I am looking forward to welcoming Makenzie into our family in 42 days! We are getting so excited! Brianne is going to have so much fun having a "live in" playmate!

August Heat

I am new to blogging but thought it would be a great way to get out thoughts and ideas! Most of my day is spent with a 22 month old so it's nice to be able to have somewhere to get things off my chest! It has been incredibly hot in Texas this month. Luckily this week we have had alot of rain which has helped cool down the weather. Today it was back up to 94 degrees! Miserable! But I am thankful for the sunshine again! Brianne (my 22 month old) and I have been trying to find ways to enjoy being outside despite the heat. So far not much luck! haha! Anyone have any ideas of things we could do to beat the heat? I think tomorrow we are going to make some fruit juice popsicles! Mmm!
